Jeep Safari to Manali, Spiti Valley, Lahaul Valley,

Duration: 8 Days

• Day 0l: Drive from Manali(1850m) to Losar village (4100m),via Kunzam Pass (4500m) , Stay in camp. Distance 160 k.m. Driving from Manali towards deep gorge of Lahaul valley & Spiti valley over Rohatang Pass & Kunzam Pass , along with Chandra River. The landscape is grey & the ranges are C.B. range & Pir punjal sub range.
   

• Day 02: Losar to Kibber village(4200m) ( a one of the heighest village in the world. & motorable road touch heigest village in the world) , visit Kibber Gompa , Kee Monastery , Kaza( the headquaters of sub division of Spiti valley.)- Stay at the bank of the famous Spiti River. 93500M), Kee Monastery is the biggest monastery in the area. Distance 140 k.m.
   

• Day 03 : Kibber village to Tabo Monastery (3700m) (A historical place ) Visit Dhankar Monastey ( the old capital of Spiti valley ), One can see the panoramic view of Spiti valley , Explore the Tabo Gompa. ,The oldest Monastery in the area. Distance 110 k.m., Camp at Tabo
   

• Day 04 : Tabo Monastery to Kunzam Pass .
  Drive back toward Lahaul vally , visit Morang Gomp, A Nun Monastery in the area., driving is through Spiti river, Distance 150 k.m.
   

• Day 05 : Kunzam Pass to Chandertal Lake (4200m). Explore the blue water moon lake.Distancc 50 k. m. Camp ta Chandertal Lake area.
   

• Day 06 .Chandertal Lake to Tandi (3400m) . All the way driving through the deep gorge of Lahaul valley, along with Chandra river & camp at Tandi , A confluence point of two river (Chandra & Bhaga river)
   

• Day 07 : Tandi to Udaipur (3700m), Visit Khardung Gompa b in the morning & drive to Trilokinath Temple in Patten valley . In Trilokinath is a six armed image of white marble of Trilokinath ( Lord Shiva ) also known as Avalokiteshwara & Bodhisattava by Buddhist. The Temple of Godess Marikula at Udaipur is known for its remarkable woodcarving & over night stay at Udaipur or at the bank of the Chandra Bhaga river at Patten Valley , the gate way of Pangi Valley.
   

• Day 08 : Udaipur to Patseu (4500m) , all the way driving is through Lahaul Valley along with Bhaga river.Visit Jispa Gompa , on the way & the gate way point to go to Zankar Area. Camp at Patseu , at the base of Baralacha-la. Pass*(4800M).
   

• Day 09 : Patseu to Pang (4500m),via Baralacha-la(4800m) ,Nukeela (4800m), Lachug-la (4900m) . Today the driving is throuhg grey landscape & barren land into Wester Himalayan Range. Camp at Pang ( A one of the oldest land on Earth)
   

• Day 10 : Pang to Tso-Moriri Lake (4400m) via Polo Pass ,After crossing more plain at Pang .Visit Tso-Kar Lake & say hello to Goose on Lake .Water in Lake is salt water lake .After Tso -Kar Lake drive to Tso-Moriri Lake , A fresh water lake on 4400m heigh. Tso-Morir Lake is about 80 k.m. long & 25 k.m. wide. Camp on the bank of Tso-Morir Lake.
   

• Day 11: Halt at Tso-Morir Lake .
  Explore the area of Tso-Morir Lake & Karzok village & most popular gompa
  in the area.
   

• Day 12 : Tso- Moriri Lake to Chumathang. All the way is drive with a stream through Puga Valley & come to meet the famous Indus River which leads towards Leh . One can see some nomad people & old village. Take bath at hot springs at Chumathang.
   

• Day 13 : Chumathang to Leh.(3600m) , All the way drive along with Indus River & visit Hemis monastery ,. Stay in Leh town in hotel.

Season : July to October
